What are cookies?
Cookies are text strings of small sizes that the sites visited by the user send to his terminal, where they are stored to then be retransmitted to the same sites at the next visit of the same user. For the purposes here of interest to the cookie stand out in the technical and profiling, depending on the function for which they are used, and in first party cookies and third-party, depending on the subject that installs them.
Types of cookies:
Technical cookies are used only for the purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide the service" (see art. 122 paragraph 1 of the Code of the privacy). Technical cookies stand on cookie navigation or session (guarantee the normal navigation and use of the web site), analytics cookies (similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the site) and functionality cookies (allow the user the navigation function of a set of selected criteria, such as the language, in order to improve the service rendered to the same).
The cookie profiling are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of the navigation in the network.
Taking into account the different subject, which installs cookies on the user's terminal, depending on whether the same operator of the site the user is visiting, or to a different site that installs the cookies through the first, a distinction is made between first party cookies and third-party cookies.

This is a cookie technical function of storage of user's choices inside the website that is deleted once you exit from the site. This cookie is also used to store the products added to the cart, what now it is an e-commerce site.

How can I disable the cookies?
The visited web site allows you to select/deselect the individual cookies, using the methods described below, but please be aware that, in the case of deactivation, it may not be possible to guarantee the full usability of the same.
Press the button “Alt” on the keyboard
In the toolbar located at the top of the browser, select “Tools” and then “Options”
Then select the “Privacy” tab
Go to “use custom Settings for History:” and then on “Use custom settings” . Uncheck “Accept cookies from sites” and save preferences.
Open Internet Explorer
Click on the button “Tools” and then on “Internet Options”
Select the “Privacy” tab and move the slider to the privacy level that you want to set it up to block all cookies or down to allow them all)
Then click OK
Open Google Chrome
Click on the icon “Tools”
Select “Settings” and then “advanced Settings”
Select “content Settings” under “Privacy”
In the tab “Cookies” you can clear the cookies and save your preferences
Choose “Preferences” in the toolbar, and then select the panel “Security” in the dialog box that follows
